19th August 2010 - News about the Costume-Contest at RingCon 2010:

costume

Due to too few registrations for the Costume-Contest, at this year’s RingCon a Talent Contest will be held, too. Maybe some fan-videos will also be shown.

However, we have news: Participants who have a great show idea, maybe a comedy or a wizard show, a vampire-show etc., can register for the Contest, even if they don't have a self-made costume.

Required is of course that there is a context to the different topics of RingCon and RingCon itself.

The Contest will have the same categories as last year, like Best Performance and Best Laugh.

Therefore the Contest undergoes a little change. The Contest will get a show evening character. What do you think? What would you like to see? Could you imagine being a part at this year’s Contest? Is the Contest more interesting to you due to this change?

Your feedback is very important for us. You can always register for the Contest by sending an E-Mail to  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Let’s all create a great Contest, which should become one of the highlights at RingCon 2010.

26th July 2010 - The ONE Ring … and more!

banner_ring_120x600

Not exactly from the fires of Mordor, but the famous and popular original jewelry from “Lord of the Rings” has been guaranteed manufactured by Schumann Design for years. Besides the well known products, the ONE Ring and the symbol of eternal love, Arwen’s evenstar, a vast number of novelties have been added. The current assortment includes Elvish Silver Necklaces and new rings, among others the demoniac Balrog. Nothing for cowards!

At RingCon 2010, Schumann-Design will again offer the option to immerse into Tolkien’s universe. All visitors have the option to create their own and unique ONE Ring right next to the booth. There is no limit in your own creativity. Whether runes, elvish or Mordor’s language, we will create an absolutely unique Ring by visitor’s script and therefore an absolutely individual item. The Ring will be produced directly at our booth and after a short production time you can put it on your finger.

To be sure, we go in for highest level of quality in material and processing by the jeweler’s craft. This is possible due to an ultra-modern Phaser-Laser production system, which will go on tour in Germany for the first time. You can choose between stainless steel, blackline, titanium, silver and tungsten directly at the booth. All articles have the original NewLine Cinema logo and mark our product as an original.
